TPG Architecture, a NYC based firm focusing on Corporate Interiors and Retail design, recently highlighted news about two projects they carried out together with Talisen Construction for Municipal Credit Union. The piece details Municipal Credit Union´s Ribbon-Cutting Event in Harlem and announces the groundbreaking of the MCU branch in Queens.
Talisen NYC Construction Principal Robert Knox and Project Manager Anthony Neal were featured in this news post as participating in the MCU´s ribbon-cutting event. The event celebrated the opening of the Harlem branch banking center. The commercial construction project consisted of creating a 24 hour ATM center with a custom folding glass partition to separate the ATM from the customer service space. The final product was a very clean and modern branch. This branch was particularly significant as it is MCU´s first in upper Manhattan.
The article goes on to announce the groundbreaking of a new MCU branch in Queens. Talisen Construction and TPG have since completed this 5 month long project of the flagship branch. The branch has ArmorCore bullet resistant fiberglass panels installed in its secure areas such as the safe room and teller counter. The project was completed in July 2012.
