Bike to the Beach Raises Money for Autism
Over the course of the past month, we’ve been sharing how generational changes impact the way we design and build workplaces with The Tenant of the Future and When the Old Word Meets The New. There’s another really important change that’s happened in our society over the same time period, and it has to do with the way we treat people who have autism.
As a society, we’re evolving to understand that people who have autism can absolutely have happy, healthy lives. Collectively, we’re learning to recognize and meet the needs of people on the autism spectrum. This has impacted every level of our society, from the classroom to the boardroom. Researchers, educators, business owners, community groups and other organizations have each stepped up in their own way to make the world a better place for the 1 in 68 kids who has autism.
Join Us: The NY Ride for Autism is June 8!
Last year, we raised over $50,000 and our goal this year is to top that…
That means we need YOUR help, and we’re inviting you to join us!
Autism touches so many lives. You may, like our CEO, have a family member who has autism, or know and care about someone who does. Community support is so important and makes a meaningful difference in a lot of peoples’ lives.
There are three ways to participate:
The NY Ride for Autism is a fun event, especially if you love riding your bike. It’s a 100-mile ride with lots of support. There’s rest breaks every 10 miles or so, and a great community vibe you’ll love.
Help us beat our $50,000 goal with a donation of any size! Every cent counts! No donation is too great or too small when it comes to making a difference for others.
Please tell your friends, coworkers & favorite people about us. We’re looking for riders and support. Help us Light It Up Blue!
