At Talisen Construction, we understand the unique challenges of building and developing successful projects, from commercial projects in NYC’s bustling boroughs to builds across the rest of the tri-state area. Across all of our projects, time-to-market, safety, and collaboration are of utmost importance in delighting our clients. Talisen is pleased to announce the addition of a new Director of Construction and Business Unit Director as we continue to grow and serve our clients in the New York Metro market.
Introducing Talisen’s Director of Construction, Michael Figliolia
Talisen is proud to announce the promotion of Michael Figliolia to Director of Construction. Mr. Figliolia originally started with Talisen as a Field Superintendent in 2013. With more than fifteen years of construction industry experience, Michael is a highly-qualified and well-respected professional with a proven track record in construction management and operations. In his previous role as Field Superintendent, Michael successfully led complex projects to deliver results for clients such as Northwell Health, Google, Pratt Institute, and NYU Langone.
In his new role as Director of Construction, Michael will collaborate with Talisen’s business unit directors, project managers, and teams to manage, standardize, enhance, and assess Talisen’s build abilities, ensuring the quality and time to market of each build align seamlessly with client expectations. He will also be tasked with several other vital responsibilities while working to maintain lasting relationships with Talisen’s clients and subcontractors, including field process quality control, job site overview, build process improvement, strategic technical challenge resolution, and the oversight of safety, field compliance, and inventory control management.
We know that Michael will be a valuable asset in his new role, and we look forward to operating with him in this new capacity.
Expanding Our Operations: Talisen’s Newest Business Unit & Director
Talisen Construction is excited to announce that we have added a third business unit to our current team. The new business unit will allow Talisen to offer an even more comprehensive suite of diversified construction services while demonstrating our dedication to developing customized solutions that match our clients’ needs.
Our third and newest business unit is spearheaded by construction veteran Andrew DiMarco who brings a wealth of industry experience and impressive leadership expertise to his new role. After getting his start in construction as a builder for the United States Navy more than 30 years ago, Andrew has managed over 200 construction professionals and overseen billions of dollars of construction. In his role as Business Unit Director at Talisen, Andrew will supervise, develop, mentor, and lead a team of senior project managers, project managers, and assistant project managers. Andrew will manage their projects while focusing on Talisen’s mission of delighting the client, top-notch safety, a strong vendor network, and collaboration in all facets of the business.
We are confident that our newest business unit and directors will succeed in advancing Talisen’s mission statement well into 2023 and beyond.
