‘Light It Up Blue’ is a Great Way to Raise Awareness for Autism

1 in 68 children are diagnosed with Autism every year. Autism is a spectrum disorder that typically causes difficulties in social interaction, verbal and nonverbal communication, and repetitive behaviors to varying degrees.  Despite incredible breakthroughs recently, we still don’t know much about autism and why it’s prevalence is on the rise. Every year in April, Autism Speaks runs their Light It Up Blue campaign. The campaign is focused on raising awareness for autism.

Team Talisen at the Starting Line

Talisen, a long time partner and collaborator with Autism Speaks, set out to ramp up our partnership with Autism Speaks in an effort to raise awareness for Autism in our network.

This June we are very excited to be riding 100 miles from downtown Manhattan to Westhampton in the 2018 Bike to the Beach event. This will be our third year riding and our goal is to raise $75,000 to benefit Autism Speaks and several other local Autism charities. We are beginning to pick up steam and would love your help!
