As Business Unit Director at Talisen, Phil brings over 20 years of industry experience. Raised in a family of constructors, Phil graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from NYIT and gained 10 years of experience in Florida as an architect working on all phases of projects from design through construction administration. His architecture/design expertise includes corporate offices, high-end retail, warehouse/storage facilities, and recreational facilities.
Making the shift to construction management during the economic downturn, Phil managed a robust portfolio of multi-million-dollar projects across the Northeast Region for Skanska; including infrastructure, corporate interiors, data centers, and healthcare projects for clients such as LaGuardia Airport, IBM, and Mount Sinai Healthcare System.
In his role as Business Unit Director at Talisen, Phil manages the bid/buy/build process with a team of astute Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers. He plays an integral part in growing, mentoring and training Talisen’s project teams in the areas of operations, processes, and company philosophy. Phil is focused on maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors, while coordinating and implementing procedures towards total project planning and execution.
Phil enjoys spending time with his immediate and extended family, as well as the occasional fishing and golfing trip.
Growing Talisen's vision and mentoring a fine group of dedicated young managers looking to gain experience, deliver superior service, and build successful projects motivates me.
