Assistant Project Manager
As the daughter of a carpenter, construction has been a part of Nichole’s life since she was five years old. She grew up in a wood shop helping to edge band, sand, prime, and stain cabinet doors, which first sparked her love for construction. Growing up, Nichole cherished joining family members on job sites where she saw different construction phases come to life. She learned how to fold architectural plans as a teen while assisting at an architect’s office and was so interested in how these plans were folded, what they said, and what they meant that she began learning how to read them. Her love for construction only grew from there.
Today, Nichole is a results-driven, detail-oriented, and hands-on professional who brings nearly a decade of experience in commercial construction to her role as Assistant Project Manager at Talisen. She is well-versed in bidding for, managing, and completing multi-million-dollar projects and focuses on building positive rapport with architects, construction managers, developers, and trade professionals. In addition, her contract negotiation, project estimation, and value engineering skills allow Nichole to execute her role as an APM at Talisen successfully.
As an Assistant Project Manager, Nichole is responsible for various daily and long-term functions that contribute to the success of a project. Developing critical path analyses and project schedules and maintaining submittal logs, RFI’s, and change orders throughout the project are some of her primary responsibilities. Nichole also visits the project site frequently, reviewing weekly job minutes with the client, subcontractor teams, and Talisen’s field team to ensure builds are completed according to schedule.
Nichole’s favorite thing about working at Talisen is gaining the opportunity to learn things she had not yet explored, as well as becoming an asset to a growing company while expanding her career and learning from everyone involved.
Outside of work, Nichole enjoys shopping, spending time with her daughter, family, and friends, weight training, traveling, and exploring new places in NY and the tri-state area.
