John Gallagher

Armed with a Government & Politics degree from the University of Maryland, John got his start in construction laboring and coordinating at his father’s construction company. Eventually, he moved on to project management tasks like submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and more.

As Assistant Project Manager at Talisen, John is charged with an array of daily and ongoing duties vital to a project’s success, including devising critical path analyses and project schedules and maintaining submittal logs, change orders, and RFIs throughout the project. John also visits the job site regularly, meeting with clients, subcontractor teams, and Talisen’s field team to review weekly task minutes and ensure each week’s schedule is executed most efficiently.

A significant accomplishment in John’s career thus far has been adeptly shifting gears from working in the field to excelling at an office role.

When John leaves the office, he relishes unwinding amidst nature with a leisurely round of golf – a soothing alternative to the demands of hiking.
