Costas Monogioudis
Project Manager
Immersed in the construction world from a young age, Costas learned carpentry and gained hands-on experience while working alongside his father, spending high school weekends cleaning job sites and planning future home design. These experiences sparked Costas’s passion for architecture and construction, leading him to obtain a bachelor’s degree in architecture from NYIT and seek opportunities to get involved in real-world construction projects.
Costas’s strong desire to understand how the concepts he envisioned on paper came to life led him to gain experience at several architecture firms before joining his family’s construction business, where he combined his architectural background with on-site expertise and saw projects through from conception to completion.
Today, Costas is a Talisen Project Manager with more than 15 years of comprehensive industry know-how. Responsible for overseeing the project lifecycle from estimation to close-out, Costas is highly proficient in managing RFI processes, implementing value engineering strategies, and meticulous budgeting. His practical approach to project execution ensures the successful delivery of a consistently superior final product, while his strong interpersonal skills support positive relationships between Talisen’s clients, field supers, assistant project managers, and subcontractors.
One of Costas’s most significant career accomplishments is mastering and integrating the architecture and construction aspects of the industry. This dual expertise enables him to solve problems effectively and ensure a clear understanding of construction documents, bridging the gap between two-dimensional plans and their three-dimensional realization.
Outside of work, Costas enjoys spending time with his family, including taking his daughters to their activities and teaching them valuable life lessons. He also loves traveling to different places around the world with his wife and daughters as often as possible.
"As a Project Manager, I have the opportunity to build strong connections with Talisen's clients and employees. I attend subcontractor and client meetings, where I contribute my knowledge of architecture and construction, including estimating, bidding, project schedules, RFIs, and POs. I also ensure that all projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and on time."
